Hi! Welcome to Sunflowers Urban Farm!I am Terra the owner and farmer growing fresh local produce and flowers to enable your desire for healthy, fresh and sustainable food production. I do my best to reduce or reuse packaging and use compostable packaging whenever possible.
This farm was started with a passion for permaculture and a realization that all real change starts grassroots in communities. Sunflowers Urban Farm contributes to change by normalizing edible landscapes in Beaumont’s urban community which support native biodiversity, healthy ecosystems and soils. Supporting native plants is essential for so many insects and birds and is one step towards decolonization and reconciliation because it honours their right to exist. Farming is a rewarding career and I hope that in the future Beaumont will grow a vibrant local food system.
A long time resident, I was grew up in Beaumont, returning to the community to raise my family in 2009. I have a strong commitment to this community and have volunteered with various organizations over the years.

Edible flowers available for Chefs, homecooks and culinary artists.
